“Hello Thomas, why don’t you introduce yourself?”

“Hello, I’m Thomas.”

“So how did you hear about BITS?”

“Now it’s getting funny. I was approached back in 2013 by a friend who worked at BITS. Recruiting employees was already one of our successful concepts back then! After I had made a small detour to a start-up and another to a group, Alex, one of the managing directors, approached me again. BITS is also very good at re-hiring :) ”

“That really sounds like a textbook story. How was your first day and your start at BITS after re-hiring?”

“My first few days were very collegial and human, but I didn’t expect anything else based on my previous experiences. I received a warm and friendly welcome and had a great second start. Laptops were already fully set up and the adventures could begin.”

“And what exactly are you doing at BITS now?”

“I am currently working as a recruiter. I search for and identify suitable candidates. I conduct the initial interviews on my own responsibility and find out whether someone will fit into the team. The second interviews are then conducted by the specialist department, management and of course you, Nico. I’m then involved in onboarding again. Apart from that, I’m also the unofficial sports officer here and do daily pull-ups in the team – we have a bar in the office and offer weekly running meetings followed by cooking together.”

“And what exactly do you do every day at BITS?”

“Jack of all trades sums it up quite well. There is always something to do outside the “official” tasks. To summarize, I do something with people :) .”

“What would you recommend to applicants? Why should they apply to us or start with us?”

“Give yourself a jolt and just talk to me. We’ll find out together whether you’re a good fit for the BITS family.”
