Our history

Bits GmbH is an owner-managed IT company based in Munich. Our expertise lies in the business areas of Digital Consulting and Digital Solutions. We support medium-sized companies, corporations and startups in the planning, execution and realization of their digital solutions.

2010

Formal foundation of BITS GmbH by Alexander Dempf.

Consolidation and expansion of the customer base. Organic growth of the team.

2014

Relocation to the current office in Obere Au in Munich.

Consolidation and expansion of the customer base. Organic growth of the team.

2017

Expansion of the management team with Martin Moser and Marc Schallehn.

Advising on and investing in select ventures. Founding of our own startup customice.

2020

Change of name from TELUM GmbH Business IT Solutions to BITS GmbH.

Cooperation

We work together according to our values and pull together: IT consultants, project managers and developers work hand in hand with a very high degree of reliability and trust. Together we bring our customers’ projects to the finish line and work on our company goals every day. Our employees are as diverse as our projects and customers. Every colleague is in a different stage of life, looks at work and life from a different perspective and has a different intention to work in our team. We respect and encourage this.

THE MANAGEMENT

The three managing partners of BITS have known each other since their student days. After studying computer science together and taking their first steps in joint projects and ventures, their professional paths partially diverged – combined with the opportunity to gain national and international experience in the most diverse areas of IT – only to meet again within BITS in the end.

Martin Moser has returned to the BITS team as Managing Director after several years as an independent consultant in the international environment. His strengths lie in consulting and project management as well as in acquisition. As managing director, our spin-off “customice” is particularly close to his heart.

Together with Alexander Dempf, Marc Schallehn has been the core of our team from day one. As the most innovative mind, he is globally responsible for architecture, organization and implementation. He is the first point of contact for business and IT implementation strategies. It also provides direction for technical decisions in the company.

The foundation of BITS GmbH goes back to Alexander Dempf. He is specialized in consulting, project management and software architecture. In the management team, he is responsible for all sales and finance issues.

BITS Team

We pull together: IT consultants, project managers and programmers work hand in hand and with a very high degree of reliability and trust. Together, we bring our customers’ projects to the finish line and work on our corporate goals every day.

After-work activities are just as much a part of this for us as the promotion of sustainable health care. As management, we always keep the needs of our employees in mind.
